If you think Sports Betting is only about football, 88dewi is about to change your mind. Malaysia and badminton are inseparable. The nation's storied history in the sport — from the Sidek Brothers era to Lee Chong Wei's legendary career and Lee Zii Jia carrying the torch today — has made badminton more than just a game. It's part of the Malaysian national identity.
With this depth of understanding, 88dewi offers badminton coverage that goes far beyond most other betting platforms. For every BWF World Tour match, you're not limited to picking a winner — you can bet on game handicaps (e.g. Player A giving -1.5 games to Player B), over/under on total sets played, and even in-set markets while the match is live.
One tip often shared in the 88dewi community is this: badminton matches frequently offer better value in handicap markets than in straightforward match-winner markets. When two evenly matched players meet, the likelihood of the match going to a third set is high — and betting on the "over" for total sets can yield attractive odds.
The Thomas Cup and Uber Cup are the most prestigious team tournaments in badminton, and when Malaysia competes, national pride runs high. 88dewi provides full coverage of both tournaments with markets updated match by match, letting fans back the Malaysian team while having a real chance to profit.
Unlike casino games where each round is independent of the last, Sports Betting involves an element of skill and knowledge that can give a prepared player a genuine edge. This doesn't guarantee a win — but with the right analysis, the odds can work in your favour.
At 88dewi, we advocate a value-driven approach. That means going beyond simply backing the most likely winner — it's about identifying situations where the odds on offer are higher than they should be given the true probability. When you consistently spot these "value bets", long-term profitability becomes a realistic outcome.
Also make use of the cash out feature available on 88dewi for selected matches. Cash out lets you close a bet early to lock in a profit or cut your losses when the match situation shifts dramatically.
The best odds often appear tens of minutes before a match kicks off. Keep your 88dewi account balance topped up through a fast local deposit method:
Open a 88dewi account in under 2 minutes. Fill in your basic details, verify your phone number, and your account is ready to go.
Minimum deposit of RM20 via Touch 'n Go, DuitNow, or other methods. Processed within 2–5 minutes with no fees.

Click your preferred odds to add them to your bet slip. Select one or more to build a parlay.
Enter your stake, confirm, and follow the match live. Use cash out whenever needed, right from your bet slip on 88dewi.
